The series is a co-production between Canal+ and Netflix, with C8 airing the show in France, and Netflix streaming the show internationally outside France. The series began filming in July 2017, and will consist of eight episodes which are scheduled to premiere on 10th May 2018 on Netflix.  Plot- Safe focuses on Tom (Michael C. Hall) a widowed father of two teenage daughters and piatrician who is in grief over the loss of his wife from cancer. After his oldest daughter goes missing, Tom ends up knowing all of the secrets of the people close to him.
