Yutu-2 faces moon’s far side

China's latest lunar rover Yutu-2 (Jade Rabbit-2) has started scientific exploration work after its historic first soft-landing on the far side of the moon. The research is getting underway one week after its January 2 landing, in an area complicated by extreme weather and rough topography.
