CHOCOLATE DECORATIONS You can decorate almost all types of chocolate desserts. Decorating cakes with chocolate is fast, easy and all you need are: chocolate chips, baking paper and something to spread it on; or a bag open / close, or if you have one, you can use a saccapoche with a pointed tip (if you really want to be professional). The recipe for the cake that you see photographed above is described below. Now imagine how it would look good on top of an express brûlé cream; Of course?! Ingredients / tools for decorating chocolate cakes: 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate drops (also great for decorating with white chocolate) 1 sheet of baking paper 1 bag for frosting Pointed tip or bag open / close Decorate the chocolate cakes : 1. Put a sheet of baking paper on the table. 2. Melt 1/2 cup of chocolate chips in the microwave or on the burner (use more if you are doing something bigger). Do not overheat and check by mixing the chocolate chips to keep their shape even if they are hot. If they overheat, they will crumble and dry up. 3. Transfer the melted chocolate to the saccapoche. If it is a bag open / close, cut out a small hole by cutting the corner of the bag; remember that you can always enlarge the hole but you can not make it smaller. 4. Create your design on the baking paper. For more detailed projects, one of my readers suggested printing the design on computer paper, then placing the parchment paper on the paper and then tracing it on top. If you screw a couple of times; Do not worry; you're not drawing directly on the cake. 5. Put a chopping board under the parchment paper and transfer it to the freezer for 5 minutes or until the chocolate hardens. 6. Now remove it gently from the paper and transfer it to the cake. It is easier to transfer it while it is still very cold (less chance of breakage during assembly). Damn it's that easy! It's too easy! You can also write letters so as not to destroy your cake if the words "Happy Birthday" are bad (it happened to me!) Or if your flower should look like a strange creature (well this happened to me!). If you try these ideas share them on Instagram or Facebook, please let me know. I'd like to see your drawings! Bookmarks: Now remove it gently from the paper and transfer it to the cake.
