'아듀 2018'...부산서 타종식 등 새해맞이행사 열려

Now we go onto the southeasternmost part of Korea.
Choi Si-young is standing at Yongdusan Park in Busan, the country's second-most populous city.
Siyoung I do explain what the oversized piggy bank is supposed to represent.
Well Daniel,
I'm here in front of this gigantic piggy bank... because the year 2019 is the year of the pig, the twelfth animal of the 12 zodiac signs.
This is an annual festival celebrating the new year's with the bell ringing... very similar to the one we see in Seoul at Bosingak Pavilion.
At 11 p.m., the festival kicks off with a concert including traditional Korean percussion music followed by an orchestra.
The countdown starts at 5 minutes 'til midnight, and at the zero hour, they're going to strike the bell 33 times.
The bell-ringers will be Busan residents from all walks of life -- students, workers, you name it-- and the mayor too.
The Busan skyline will also be lit up by fireworks for about a minute or so.

And one thing special about this festival is that at the end, the people here will sing the "song of Busan," the city's anthem.
I will keep you updated with the latest. Back to you Daniel.
