India's drugs regulatory body is now expanding the scope of its probe towards Johnson & Johnson's shampoo & baby soap apart from baby powder which is already under scanner. NewsX told you first in July this year that India’s drug regulator is examining J&J's baby talc for carcinogenic substance asbestos. The drug regulator has now ordered Johnson & Johnson to stop manufacturing its baby powder using raw materials from its two Indian raw material units until test results prove they are free of asbestos.
