In shocking news coming in, 60% of over 5 lakh acres of land that is owned by Tamil Nadu temples have been sold under forgery fake and fraudulent methods. Many temple properties, as many as 1 lakh acres of temple land has been swindled. Now, Tamil Nadu antiques have become corroded and hit by bronze cancer, which is incurable. There are thousands of antiques with are under what is being called bronze cancer. Archaeological survey of India has found out that the thousands of idols in safety vaults in Tamil Nadu temples stand corroded, including those in the Tiruvarur icon centre which houses at least 4,380 antiques.
