CAPE TOWN BLITZ VS JOZI STARS - MZANSI LEAGUE 2018 FINAL
Inaugural Champions | MSL 2018 -- Jozi Stars. Even when you grow old, lose memory, you aren't going to forget the team that started it all. It's been a wonderful few weeks of cricket here, and South Africa, the land of T20 superstars, finally have a league to call their own. The corks have already been blown up in the middle, and for now, as Jozi bask in their glory, it's time for us to head out. This was Vineet Anantharaman bringing you the action in the company of Akshay Maanay and our scorer, Reddy. Until 2019 brings up an MSL, ta ta!!
Dane Vilas | Winning skipper: It is an unbelievable team performance. They were brilliant right from the word go. This is one of the best grounds in the world, we were expecting it to be tough but were surprised with how fast the wicket was. Credit to Reeza and Dussen for seeing out Dale's spell and taking us home. All the guys, inclucing someone like Pongolo who wasn't a part of the side earlier, were fantastic and so was the entire team management. We really enjoyed each other's company and that is what makes it special. I don't know how this tournament is going to get better than this, it was superb, even on the TV ratings. We are really excited, the fans are excited and I am really really happy for all of them.
Farhaan Behardien | Losing captain: We have done well over the campaign. We have beaten some good sides but our bad day came unfortunately came in the final. The plan was always to bat first.
