Zander Fishing - An Opportunistic Session At Dawn - 9/12/18 (Video 93)

Sunday morning saw me sneak out for an hour on the bank at dawn as the family had a lie-in.

My intention was another trotting session. However, a quick reccy to the stretch below the weir confirmed that there was far too much wind for that to be a feasible tactic.

"Zander weather" I thought as I walked home in the drizzle to swap my trotting gear for deadbaits.

By the time I had set up and cast in than the skies cleared, the clouds disappeared and the sun blazed down on the winter landscape. "That's that then" I conceded.

How wrong I was.

I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.
