Seven-year-old Oliver dressed as a Santa-themed police officer and gave heartfelt hugs to nursing home residents in the Midwestern state of Kansas.

Little Oliver, who has said he wants to be a police office when he grows up, visited homes at Leawood and Prairie Village in the Midwestern state over the last few weeks.

"Christmas isn't about presents, it's about helping people and making," says mom Brandi.

Video of his "mission" shows Oliver going into the nursing home, giving flowers and notes of kindness to the people in the home.

"Oliver loves going to nursing homes to pass out flowers and bring smiles to people," says Brandi, Oliver's mum.
