Did you know your running toilet can waste two gallons of water a minute? Try jiggling the handle. If it still runs, you may need to replace your toilet flapper. The flapper is the valve that opens when you flush your toilet. First, turn off the water supply to your toilet tank, then open the lid, and flush to completely drain your tank. Remove the flapper chain. Take out your old flapper. Bring it with you to the store so you can replace it with the exact same one. This is a do-it-yourself project I know you can handle.
