Aveek Mallick, is quite a well known face in today's cultural arena. Born & brough up in a musical abode, Aveek's first inspiration & mentor was his mother, Smt. Suvra Mallick. He is a promising desciple of stalwart artiste Late Smt. Suchitra Mitra & also of Smt Purba Dam, Sri Argha Sen, Late Smt. Roma Mondal, Smt Sumitra Roy, Sri Ramanuj Dasgupta to name a few. At present Aveek is blessed with renowned exponent, Guru Smt. Pramita Mallick & Sri Avijit Basu. He received National Scholarship from Ministry if Culture, Govt. of India and was bestowed with numerous awards & prizes throughout his musical career. He is a "B-High" grade artiste of All India Radio and has been performing in all leading television channels & various stage shows all over India. Aveek has successfully performed in the USA, UK, Europe & Qatar and earned esteemed recognition. He has also given music direction to various cultural programs and audio recordings of Tagore's dance drama. In recent time, Aveek has achieved great accomplishement as an exponent of Rabindrasangeet, Folk & Bangla Adhunik. His continuous musical endeavour holds much promises for a bright & successful musical career ahead
