S. Korea's Air Force to conduct solo exercise this week

South Korea's Air Force says it will conduct large-scale combat exercises... all throughout this week.
According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Monday, the ROK Air Force will carry out drills to maintain a high level of defense readiness... and improve the mission capability of its pilots.
The JCS added... there will also be a joint South Korea-U.S. air force exercise... at the battalion level or less... along with the ROK Air Force's solo drill.
This comes... after South Korea and the U.S. suspended one of their largest joint military exercises, 'Vigilant Ace' back in October... to support diplomatic efforts with North Korea.
