Farmers from across India marched to Parliament from Ramlila Maidan, demanding an end to the agrarian crisis in the country as well as a special sitting to discuss the situation. Farmers, who have banded together under All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC), had gathered in New Delhi. A group of farmers from bihar claim that they are fighting for their rights from 1975 and government is not providing any relief to them.

अपनी मांगों को पूरा करने की अपील करते किसान नई दिल्ली में करीब एक लाख की संख्या में पहुंचे, AIKSCC का दावा है कि ये संख्या दो लाख की है. देश भर के 206 किसान संगठन AIKSCC के बैनर तले नई दिल्ली में एकजुट हुए हैं. कांग्रेस समेत 23 राजनीतिक दलों का समर्थन भी इन किसानों को मिला है, आंदोलन के के दौरान बिहार से आए किसानों के एक समूह का कहना था की वो जेपी आंदोलन के जमाने से अपनी मांगों के लेकर सरकार से लड़ रहे है, सुनिए इन किसानों की समस्या
