這首歌曲I Want To Hold You 是我第一張專輯Breaking Away發表之後 2017年回到美國作的第二批歌曲 事實上 跟其他的三首That Song Again又是那首歌, Never Have I我從來不曾 跟Winter In The Park冬季在公園裡 是一起開始寫的 但是不知道什麼原因 我就是遲遲沒有把這首歌完成 拖著拖著 又開始忙著時光旅人這個節目的錄製 更是沒有時間將它確實完成 一個多月前 我後面的新歌也都出來了 我才下定決心 要把這首I Want To Hold You跟後面的新歌一次搞定

從剛開始的作曲靈感 到將近一年半之後的今天 總算完成 可以跟大家分享了

這一首I Want To Hold You 跟我任何一首其他的創作歌曲不太一樣 它表面上沒有很多故事 歌曲描述 跟心愛的人長久以來 大風大浪過後 仍然相愛 兩個人在一次安靜的夜晚 在爐火旁邊擁抱 享受著不用多說一句話 那種寧靜的甜蜜 這首歌讓我感到很輕鬆 很自在 很放鬆 很安心 心靈上就像回到你自己最舒服的家一樣 也是我十幾首自創曲之中 少有的不是以悲劇收場的曲子
