Global march demands justice for tigress Avni and her two 10-month-old cubs

Filmmakers, actors and animal rights activists will take part in a global march demanding justice for tigress Avni and her two 10-month-old cubs on Sunday. The march will begin at 4 p.m. At Worli Sea faces up to Shivaji Park in Dadar. The global march is expected to touch 22 cities across India and 11 countries around the world. Meanwhile, politics over the issue is heating up with Congress' Sanjay Nirupam hitting out at the Maharashtra Forest Miniter, linking Sudhir Mungantiwar to the global poaching mafia. Union minister Nitin Gadkari earlier backed Mungantiwar on the killing of tigress Avni. Meanwhile, a 2 member committee will also be formed to look into the dead of Avni.
