Trump Says He’ll ‘Never Forgive’ President Obama For ‘What He Did'

President Trump on Friday said he will “never forgive” former President Barack Obama.

President Trump on Friday told reporters that he will "never forgive" former President Barack Obama "for what he did to our United States military."  Trump continued: "I'll never forgive him for many other things." The comment came after a question about former first lady Michelle Obama.  In her soon-to-be-released memoir, 'Becoming,' she says that she will never forgive President Trump for advancing the "birther" theory, as it put her family in potential danger.  The Washington Post, which obtained an advance copy, reports that Michelle Obama writes: "The whole [birther] thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed."  She continues: "But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks. What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk. And for this I'd never forgive him."  The conspiracy theory regarding former President Barack Obama's birthplace reportedly surfaced in 2008 and was taken up by Trump in 2011. He began a campaign for the release of the then-president's birth certificate, and, in an appearance on NBC's 'Today' show suggested it hadn't been shown to the public because "maybe it says he's a Muslim."
