Billboard Year-End Hot 100 Singles of 1984

Opening Song: "Purple Rain" - Prince and The Revolution

I'm finishing up the 1980s Year-Ends despite them being completed elsewhere to fill out the playlist, so here is 1984. This is when MTV started doing year-end lists, which are available for viewing on my Youtube and Vimeo channels.
From this year until 1991, almost every song is a Top 10 hit, for reasons you can decide. (Rule changes in 1991 resulted in longer chart runs and slower chart turnover which ended this trend to this day).
With the start of music videos, means I'm using trailers less, the following are from other media:
#80 is from the film Breakin'
#47 was the love themes used in the serial Santara Barbra
#42 is from Twist of Fate
#13 is also from Footloose alongside #4 and #59
#5 is from the film Against All Odds
and finally, #1 and #21, as well as the opening song, are all from the film "Purple Rain" (the opening song is actual footage from the movie).
