"We are prepared to deal with Zika, H1N1", says Health Minister JP Nadda

Union Health Minister JP Nadda chaired a meeting on H1N1 flu and Zika virus in New Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting was held on H1N1 outbreak and to discuss on how to take situation under control. While briefing the media about the situation, Nadda said, “Before winter we are gearing up to deal with the H1N1 flu. We are going to talk on how the H1N1 can be curtailed in the nation, especially in the states which are more prone to the virus. We have sufficient medicines and testing kits in the 41 surveillance centres, government hospitals and labs. Ventilator management training has been done. Health workers have been immunised. Ministry and state governments are geared up.”
