The world’s longest flight, from Singapore to New York, resumed on Thursday, October 11. The journey takes about 19 hours and spans 16,700km (10,400 miles). The route was abandoned five years ago due to high oil prices. The Singapore Airlines’ A350-900ULR can carry 161 passengers in business and premium economy class. Regular economy class is not available.
