A priest with a haunted past and a novice on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania and confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun. The Nun stars Demian Bichir, Taissa Farmiga and Jonas Bloquet. It is the fifth entry in the Conjuring film series, following the two original movies and two other spin-offs, Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation. The series is produced by James Wan and has grossed more than $1.2 billion worldwide.
