A Pakistan Army advertisement published in country's national newspaper Dawn kicked off a storm when it called for entries for the post of sanitation workers to be filled by "non-Muslims only". In the advertisement published on August 26, the recruitment programme of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) has released vacancies for several positions. In the non-combatant category, the vacancy for sanitation worker was reserved only for the "non-Muslims". Tailor, barber, carpenter, painter, bootmaker and a water carrier were other vacancies in the Non-Combatant Enrolled (NCsE) category. A picture of the advertisement was shared on Twitter by Pakistan-based activist, Kapil Dev.
