Pranab Bardhan’s family celebrated in Kolkata after Bardhan won gold in Bridge final event in Asian Games 2018 along with Shibhnath Sarkar. Feeling happy and proud, Bardhn’s daughter said, “We were tracking the game for three days and when we saw him win I was overwhelmed and exciting. We were expecting India will take a medal home.” Pranab Bardhan along with Shibhnath Sarkar bagged a gold medal in men's pair bridge event in the ongoing 18th edition of Asian Games.
