A developer told CNN that he has 45 days to come up with a plan to save the birthplace home of Aretha Franklin. Jeffrey Higgs says an Environmental Court judge gave him until October 16 to present a preservation plan. Franklin's family moved from Memphis to Detroit when she was around 2 years old.
