South Korea's finance chief says the government will do its utmost to resolve high unemployment and income distribution in the country. At an economic-related ministers' meeting on Monday, Kim Dong-yeon said job data and income distribution have worsened in recent months. He vowed the government will implement its policies to support the self-employed and those in the lower income classes without a hitch. At the meeting, the policymakers also discussed measures to create jobs for people in their 50s and 60s, and lowering toll fees on private highways.
