Wooden Tricycle Race

These lads might not have made it to the Asian Games but they held their own competition - flying down roads on wooden tricycles. The locals in West Java, Indonesia, gathered for the race on a Sunday afternoon. Teenagers wearing leather suits and helmets clambered onto the home-made wooden motorcycles before whizzing down the hills. They even hit a small ramp which sent them hurtling through the air to the delight of crowds in the Cicantayan District of Sukabumi Regency, Indonesia, to mark Indonesian Independence Day.
