An elderly man has been praised in China for using his rowing boat to ferry stranded commuters across a flooded road.
A video, which was filmed in Heze City in eastern Shandong Province on August 19, shows the unidentified senior transporting a boatload of grateful locals across the flooded section.
The flooding was caused by Typhoon Rumbia, according to local media.
