A 3-year-old boy buried in rubble after a landslide struck was rescued on August 14 in southwestern China’s Yunnan province. Firefighters and local residents took four hours to pull the boy out of the debris, using life-detection instruments, hoes and electric drills. The boy was not seriously injured.
