Armed police set up cordon around Westminster

A man has been arrested after a number of pedestrians were injured when a car crashed into barriers outside the Houses of Parliament. Areas around Westminster were placed into lock-down by armed officers shortly after the incident at 7.37am on Tuesday. A number of ambulances are on the scene and Westminster tube station has been closed. Report by Benaribiam.
