S. Korea opens research center dedicated to issue of comfort women

South Korea launched a research facility dedicated to the issue of the Japan's wartime sexual enslavement of Korean women.
The center was inaugurated today by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
It will build a database on the issue with records from within and outside the nation,... and also translate testimonies of the victims to prevent historic distortion, globally.
The center also aims to contribute to helping future generations correctly understand the issue.
