New Balance Releases Limited Edition with Taiwanese Brand PHANTACi

New Balance and Taiwanese streetwear brand PHANTACi have teamed up for a project celebrating Jay Chou’s expansive career. Their first drop featured 10 customized sneaker design concepts, in this release, we take a look at a rework to the ML997HPH. Constructed with three colors iconic to PHANTACi’s archive; the pink toe vamp is offset by black and white on its NB997-inspired upper, and is rounded off with perforated star motifs adorning the heel counter. With design elements pulled from New Balance’s 998, the REVlite cushioning midsole offers lightweight comfort, while utilizing the in-house elite foam technology to provide extra responsiveness and durability. The shoe will be available exclusively in China on Sept 15, following by official releases in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, in a package along with a specially designed shoe box.
