Senator Rand Paul has asked President Trump to remove the security clearance of former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan. The White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders, responds by saying the President is looking at options to execute that and further. The President is also looking into removing security clearances for former FBI Director James Comey, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Director of National Security Agency Michael Hayden, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe. President Trump's argument for this change in status involves those individuals he believes are monetizing and politicizing their government positions with extensive continuing secret security knowledge.
