Around the Gilé nature reserve in northern Mozambique, sustainable farming techniques are being promoted among local populations to limit the degradation of the country's precious forests, as traditional methods prove to be not only wasteful, but also bad for the environment. Currently 10 to 15% of greenhouse gas emissions come from deforestation and forest degradation.
