U.S. asks UN to half refined oil product supply to North Korea over breach of sanctions

The United States is asking the UN Security Council to order an immediate halt of all refined oil products delivered to North Korea,... after finding out that Pyongyang had violated restrictions on the imports.
According to a confidential U.S. reports sent to a UN sanctions committee,...
it's estimated that nearly 760-thousand barrels of oil products had been delivered to North Korea between January 1st to May 30th of this year.
The numbers are well above the annual quota set at 500-thousand barrels.
Under the sanctions resolution adopted back in December,... crude supplies to North Korea are also capped at four million barrels a year.
