'Roseanne' Scores Two Emmy Noms

4 months ago1 views

ABC's "Roseanne" has been nominated for two Emmy awards. The series, which was canceled by the network earlier this year following a racist tweet from star Roseanne Barr, earned noms for Laurie Metcalf in the supporting actress in a comedy series category and in the picture editing category. Laurie Metcalf has won three Emmys in the past for her role in the series in the mid-'90s. "Roseanne" editor Brian Schnuckel received a picture editing nomination for the "Darlene V. David" episode. Metcalf will reprise her role in "Roseanne" spinoff "The Connors" in the fall.
