Brad Foster is planning to use his ring return to maximum effect after being handed his date to lace on the gloves again.

Foster will have been out of the ring for almost six months when he features on a televised card at the Leicester Arena on Saturday December 2, live on Channel Five.

He will box under the Cyclone Promotions banner, headed by former world champion and International Hall of Famer Barry McGuigan.

The youngster from Lichfield made the trip for a press conference at Leicester City Football Club, as the home of the Foxes set the stage for fight night.

The 20-year-old, who is still unbeaten after seven pro contests, will likely engage in a six-rounder at super bantamweight. He spoke to Seconds Out reporter Craig Birch.
