World Cup Fans Use Anime Theme Song as Unlikely Way to Bond

The World Cup brings together people from across the globe and unites them in their love of football. Or sometimes football and anime, as is the case with French comedian John Sulo and the Japanese friends he made in Ekaterinburg on June 24.Japan grabbed a point in a 2-2 draw with Senegal in the Russian city, but afterward, Sulo caught up with a pair of Japanese fans and proceeded to sing the theme tune to anime classic One Piece with them.The delightful clip had just over 54,000 retweets and 75,000 likes at the time of writing.
