Mana Lourdes Lay has been helping people get healthier since high school. In her first job, she assisted sick children and patients with disabilities at a clinic in Aileu Villa. Then, she trained as a physiotherapist at Sydney University with the support of an Australia Awards Scholarship.
Since she finished studying in 2014, she has worked at the National Hospital administering a range of physical therapies. Every day she improves her patient’s mobility, and encourages them to keep active and recover so they can get on with their lives.
