Chief Justice and Court of Appeal president resigns

Chief Justice Md Raus Sharif and Court of Appeal president Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin have tendered their resignation.

According to a press statement by the chief registrar of the Federal Court, the top two judges submitted their resignation letters to the Agong on June 7.

Their resignation will take effect on July 31.
