The Critérium du Dauphiné engages the main competitors of the Tour de France a few weeks before La Grande Boucle.
In 2018, for the 70th edition the route includes one prologue and seven stages and will cover a total distance of 958.6 kilometres starting in Valence and finishing in Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc
