Did Sudden spike in fuel, vegetable & milk prices out of govt control Will middle class get relief

It's become a confluence of bad news for the many of us that worry about balancing monthly budgets and paying EMI’s. Fuel prices are at record highs, the few paisa cuts haven't achieved much. Cooking gas is now costlier. Amid the fuel shock, came the EMI blow with the country's biggest banks raising their base prime lending rates and now comes the bite of the onion. Vegetable prices have begun to spike in the principal metros, everything from potatoes to Bhindi from Mumbai to Delhi. A part is a seasonal spike ahead of the Monsoons, a part is due to a farmers agitation that is slowly gaining momentum. They want a farm loan waiver and realisation of minimum support price promises. We've been out in the mandis and on the streets today finding out the bare facts. Because whatever hits the home and hearth, hits politics. A lot of middle class folk who were hoping of tax relief, who staunchly bore demonetisation without a flutter wouldn't want to see their household budgets upset. The farmers who marched to Mumbai two months ago have provided a popular template for others two follow suit with similar demands. It is not an earth shattering blow but it has the potential to be one and become one very quickly. What can be done and who can do it politics excluded and included are the discussion points.
