A herd of deer gather in the middle of a residential street

The brazen bunch of six stags had wandered into the middle of a housing estate and seemed unfazed by being out of their natural environment. They spent 15 minutes walking up and down the street on Tuesday morning after coming from a nearby nature reserve. Jennifer Russell, 41, captured the "surreal" moment on video after waking up to take her daughter to school. She said: "It was nice. I managed to get my little girl up to see it and a few other people were looking out their windows. "I was really frosty so it was all Christmassy. We think it was a group of lads coming back from a stag party."
