Didcot Power station is blown up - five months after tragic collapse
  • 5 years ago
The redundant building at Didcot Power station was demolished by explosion after a tragic collapse in February killed four men. The search for the three men is now set to resume. The remote demolition destroyed the decommissioned site at about 6:00am. Ken Cresswell, 57, and John Shaw, 61, and Chris Huxtable, 34, were trapped under rubble on 23 February. The body of Michael Collings, 53, of Teesside, was recovered.
