Scot builds tiny gin bar inside old horse box

Enterprising estate manager Walter Micklethwait, 37, was given the trailer by a friend and told to make it into a pub, which he duly did. The bar, which he describes as a "Victorian old man's pub", can just about accommodate two members of staff, but has bar stools for customers on the front. Walter is no stranger to making weird and wonderful creations out of old vehicles and buildings – earlier this year he won the prestigious shed of the year award for his gin distillery fashioned from an old hen house. And having also won gin of the year for his Crossbill gin, made with berries harvested in the Highlands, he decided to make a bar to serve it in – which can be easily transported from place to place.
