Church rockers get record deal 40yrs after debut album
  • 5 years ago
Band of church-going Scots sixtysomethings have signed their first record deal — forty years after recording debut album.
Christian rockers White Light (not to be confused with the cider of a similar name) have become in-demand for record collectors after their limited edition 1974 release ‘Parable’ was sold at their old gigs. Collectors have paid over £500 on several occasions to get their hands on the rare record. It came to the attention of Spanish record label Guerssen Records after a music-blogger listed their LP as an extra-rare collector’s item.
