been languishing in a rescue centre for eight years after failing to
attract a new owner - because it has bright ORANGE eyes. Bagheera is an Italian-born black collie cross named after the orange-eyed panther from The Jungle Book. She was taken into a rescue centre in Italy as a six-month-old puppy and, after no one wanted her, she travelled to England in the hope of finding a home. The dog has sinister orange eyes - which is incredibly rare in a dog and it is thought to put prospective owners off.
