Hunter shoots Bear as Bear kills Calf Elk - Stuck N the Rut 16

In this video, we are hunting spring bear with our good friend Nick Phelps. From a distance, we spotted a bear chasing around a newborn calf elk. By the time we got there and shot the bear, it was too late. The bear had the calf elk killed by that time. After hibernation, the black bears are looking for any easy food source, and unfortunately, the deer, elk, and moose are having offspring during this time for this hungry predator.
