David returns to college for his third year studying pharmacy. He continues to find himself dissatisfied with his career choice, only continuing the work to please his controlling father. Having grown up in America, David feels disconnected from his first-generation immigrant parents. This clash in family ties is challenged after David meets a new student facing similar issues named Joi, who pushes David to follow his passions and enter this year’s Virtual Reality Video Game Competition.
