8. Tallest Man Alive\r
What you now see is the tallest man alive as declared by the Guinness Book of World Records in new. Sultan Kosen, a native of Ankara Turkey, was measured at an astonishing 8 feet and 3 inches tall, with hands at roughly a foot long and feet over a foot long. He supports himself with canes because his rapid growth, caused by overive production of the growth hormone, has rendered his body too heavy to balance on his legs without support. His slender frame weighs in at 302 pounds, and he was only able to stop growing after he had surgery on his pituitary gland to stop it from producing the hormone that caused his growth.\r

7. Blizzard of ‘77\r
If you hate snow, you havent seen the half of it! In 1977, Buffalo, New York got hammered with 199.4 inches of snowfall at the end of January. Drifts were recorded reaching up to 30 feet tall, and 29 deaths were attributed to the severe snowfall in the state of New York alone. Snow was seen as early as October 9th that year, and wind chills during the intense winter dropped to an icy -70 degrees Fahrenheit. \r

This sculpture of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster is made entirely of Lego bricks and stands 20 feet above the water, running 60 feet long. Its held together by super glue and took thousands of hours to build. \r
