The film is set to star Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Jeffrey Wright, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner, Sam Elliott, Anna Paquin, A.J. Buckley, and Steve Zahn. It is scheduled to be released on November 25, new.[4] It will be the studios sixteenth feature film. Bob Peterson, who came up with the idea for the story, directed The Good Dinosaur until August new, when he was removed from the film.[1] On October 21, new, Peter Sohn (who had previously been co-director) was announced as the new director of The Good Dinosaur. The film, alongside Inside Out, marks the first time that Pixar will release two films in the same year.[5]
