Taking a look at the markets. Starting in the United States. Retail and technology stocks pumped Wall Street higher on Wednesday even as U.S. bond yields hit near seven-year highs and investors worried over geopolitical issues. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 62 points, or a quarter-of-a-percent, to 24,768, the S&P 500 gained zero-point-four percent, to 2,722 and the Nasdaq Composite added 46 points, or around two-thirds of one percent to 7,398. Here in Korea. The benchmark KOSPI closed virtually flat,... edging up one point, or less than zero-point-one percent, to 2,459-eight. The KOSDAQ fared worse. It was down one-and-a-half percent at 850. The Korean won fell against the U.S. dollar.
